On November 8, 2023 and November 9, 2023, representative of VietCycle Corporation, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong – Chairman of the Board of the company, attended and spoke at the event “12th Asia PET Series – Circuclar Plastic Packaging Asia” was held at Novotel Saigon Center Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City under the approval of the Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA). The event focuses on advances in solutions towards circularizing plastic waste – especially solutions related to plastic food packaging.

At the event, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong and Ms. Huynh Thi My – General Secretary of the Vietnam Plastics Association and Mr. Max Craipeau – Founder of BOTOL Company were the opening speakers of the seminar. In his speech and presentation, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong shared his experiences and great values with the topic “Current status and recommendations on 8 Core Policies to promote a circular economy from plastic waste in Vietnam”.

According to Mr. Vuong, smart, open and supportive policies from the Government are the greatest source of motivation to promote and encourage businesses, organizations and units to collect and recycle plastic waste to achieve the best and more positive results each year. In addition, with over 20 years of experience in the profession, Mr. Vuong realized that the Government issuing core policies to promote a circular economy from plastic waste in Vietnam will also contribute to change. awareness from each of us in realizing the importance of collecting and recycling plastic waste.
