Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong – Chairman of VietCycle Corporation attended “Green Economy Forum 2023”

On the morning of November 2, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong – Chairman of VietCycle Corporation, Chairman of the Vietnam Recycled Plastics Association participated in the forum “The role of EPR in driving Circular Economy and Waste Management in Vietnam” held at the JW Marriott Hanoi hotel, with an honorary speaker.

Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong spoke at the event.

The forum is within the framework of the event “Green Economy Forum 2023”. Attending the event were also the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mr. Mark Rutte. Besides, there are high-ranking delegates, ambassadors, associations, organizations and large and small businesses in the EU and Vietnam.

At the forum, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong shared extremely valuable insights, experiences, and initiatives not only for Vietnam but also in line with the world’s Green Economy trend.

Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong affirmed, “The very important thing is policy. If there is a good policy, Vietnam’s recycling industry will find its own finance and technology.” Especially implementing EPR – one of the 8 core policies recommended by Mr. Vuong.
