VietCycle participated in the seminar discussion of “Current role and future prospects for informal workers in the waste and plastic management system”

On November 25, 2022, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong – representative of VietCycle Joint Stock Company participated in the discussion “Current roles and future prospects for informal workers in the plastic and waste management system” at the seminar summarizing the project “Replicating the community model of plastic and household waste management in 05 cities”.

Mr. Vuong is one of the guests sharing at the seminar

Participating in the seminar, Mr. Hoang Duc Vuong – Chairman of the Association of Recycled Plastics, Chairman of Vietcycle also said that the informal collection system has not been recognized in environmental protection. This program as well as this project has raised the attention as well as the recognition and support that is very meaningful and respectful. Also, we completely agree with the sharing from the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE): “The circular economy is a new issue that we have to learn from each other as the project has learned and accompanied many women in 5 provinces across the country.”

Mr. Vuong shared his views at the seminar

VietCycle as well as Mr. Vuong understand that: the longer you work in the profession, the more you sympathize with the joys and sorrows of the profession, then you will find these spaces to sit down and share with each other very valuable. From here, the pride in their profession will be increasingly nurtured and replicated.
